On August 22, HKPC successfully led more than 500 students to set a new Guinness World Record of “The most people programming robots simultaneously” within an hour! The record required participants to programme the moves of different kinds of robots within limited time. FLAIR colleagues provided on-site guidance and assistance to the students together with HKPC project team and were proud of the success in setting a new world record.
It was also an honour to have Ms Rebecca Pun, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology at the event to cheer for the students. We hope the event could spark public interest in AI and robotics, which in turn can further to promote the development of local innovation and technology talents!
